Duct tape has an inherent property of pushing the skin to detach skin tag. Removing the duct tape after 2 days will eventually release skin tag as well.

Nail Polish

One of the simplest and proven remedy for the removal of skin tag involves application of nail polish on the skin tag. However, you may have to repeat the procedure at least twice a day for two weeks. Skin tag will be released with dried nail polish.

  • Avoid using unsterile threads that increases the risk of infection several folds.
  • Do not cut the skin tags with scissors or blade that is highly associated with infection and bleeding.
  • Always use floss, since ordinary thread is incapable of removing the skin tag.
  • If you have skin tags on delicate parts of the body like groin, do not attempt to use floss without seeking advice from your healthcare provider.
